Late 1960’s to early 1970’s ROAMER [Swiss] ‘Stingray’ chronograph issued and branded for Seth Thomas, it was professionally restored and fully serviced by Localtime.
The steel case houses a Valjoux Cal. 726 and measures 38mm or 41mm including the logoed crown. Known as the Björn Waldegård model, it can also be seen in the same-period adverts I included. The steel case is in very good condition and the watch is wearing its original and logoed stainless steel NSA bracelet that fits my 7.5 inch wrist very comfortably. The dial has aged gracefully and created a stardust-like effect that is very even and actually quite elegant. The original plexi has been kept to maintain the original integrity of the watch. It has been nicely polished but still has some scratches that you can see in the photos. I have included many photos, including some snapshots from the Spa bench and closeup snapshots I took, just for fun.
As with all the watches I service here at Localtime, the BIN price includes a written 3-month written warrantee from the date of purchase. Feel free to contact me for whatever questions you might have.
