A wonderful example of a late 1970’s Quartz “Sous Marine” Ref. T20556 from the historic French brand of YEMA, this vintage timepiece is in excellent, original condition and comes on a same-era NOS black rubber strap.
I have just had the watch tested and timed and it is ticking away happily with all functions working as they should. The 37mm solid stainless steel case [40mm including the crown at 3h] is in a great condition and I have lightly cleaned it to bring out the sparkle. The original black dial and hands are in a wonderful condition. I have polished and kept the original crystal so not to interfere with the watch’s original integrity. Bearing the modern Yema “Y” logo, this timepiece is placed circa 1978-1979, when Yema was owned by Seiko. The beautiful ‘ghost’ bezel is razor sharp and turns bi-directionally as it should but has some slight but even signs of use on the perimeter.
