In 2003, DOXA re-issued a limited edition of the SUB 250 ‘Sharkhunter’. Only 200 pieces were made. This new watch had a polished steel case, made to the same specifications as the original 250T of 1973 [41mm diameter, 49mm L2L and 14mm high. These 200 pieces were powered by NOS ETA automatic Cal. 2452’s.
Complete boxed set with its card, a stunning 2003 Ltd Ed. [200 pcs made] SUB 250 No-T ‘Sharkhunter’ diver from DOXA [Swiss], that has been professionally inspected by Localtime.
The large Squale-Type polished stainless steel case is in excellent condition, houses an ETA Cal. 24522 with date and measures in at 41mm or 43mm including the crown at 4h. The matte black dial, set of 3 hands and bezel are simply stunning. It is wearing its original mesh steel bracelet which is also in excellent condition and fits my 7.5″ wrist comfortably with 5 extra links available. I have included many photos, including some closeup snapshots I took just for fun, even though the polished case and super dome hessalite make this a difficult one to photograph!
As with all the watches I inspect in-house here at Localtime, the BIN price includes a written 6-month written warrantee from the date of purchase. Feel free to contact me for whatever questions you might have.
P.S. The last photo shows one of my display cabinets with some other DOXAs that I currently have in stock. Also included is a scan from the book of Dr. Peter McClean Millar’s book ‘A history of the Doxa dive watch’, with information on this model.
