From 1973, a Hamilton ‘Broad Arrow’ military timepiece issued to the British Army that has been professionally inspected in-house here at the Localtime Spa.
The stainless steel case has not been polished, houses an ETA-based manual-wind Hamilton Cal. 649 and measures in at 36mm or 38mm including the crown. It is wearing a NOS ‘Regimental’ NATO strap that, in my humble opinion, suits it quite nicely. I have included many photos, including some closeup snapshots I took just for fun, but also to allow you to enjoy the lovely details of this fine timepiece.
As with all the watches I inspect in-house here at the Localtime Spa, the BIN price includes a written 6-month written warrantee from the date of purchase. Feel free to contact me for whatever questions you might have.
P.S. The last scan shows some examples of the same watch from Konrad Knirim’s book ‘British Military Timepieces’ and is for presentation purposes only.
Extra: Try my Grand-Prix straps! I have found these straps to be very comfortable and a great match especially for sporty or chronograph watches. They come in 4 sizes [18-20-22-24mm] and 6 leather & stitch colour combinations [black & orange, black & red, black & white, blue & white, brown & white and tan & white]. The straps have 3 ‘racing’ holes on each side. Their length is 85mm on the buckle end [including the steel buckle] and 115mm on the tail end; so not short but not too long either. They have one stable keeper and one floating keeper. These straps can also be purchased separately from eBay item number 132466207005. Feel free to contact me for whatever questions you might have.
