An iconic watch that is just stunning from any angle! SANDOZ [Swiss] Ref. 1745-Z-84-5 ‘Typhoon’ 1000m diver with an automatic FHF Cal. 90-5 that has been professionally serviced by Localtime.
It is in honest/authentic condition throughout and ready to proudly wear or join your collection. The 43.50mm [counting the screw-in crown] stainless steel monocoque case is in unpolished condition and has only been lightly cleaned. All parts of this watch are its original parts. The dial and hands are just mesmerising. The uni-directional ratcheting bezel is very recognisable and unique to this iconic model. I have made many photos, some closeup fun snapshots and some snapshots from the bench without bezel/plexi for a better dial view [which is stunning by the way and VERY hard to capture with the super-dome plexi on]. This watch is fitted with a NOS tropic-style strap in black. I have added a same-period box to it. It did not come with the watch, but it makes a good home for it.
As with all the watches I service here at Localtime, the BIN price includes a written 6-month written warrantee from the date of purchase. Feel free to contact me for whatever questions you might have.
Extra: Try my Localtime Tropic straps! Let’s face it, we all wish we could use the vintage, original type, but they are nowhere to be found anymore. If you do find them, they are very expensive or dry and stiff if they were not properly kept all these years. Not to mention the fact that 22 & 24mm are really rare as hen teeth. I have found these straps to be a good alternative to the vintage tropic straps and very comfortable. They come in 4 sizes [18-20-22-24mm] and with 2 smooth, floating keepers. The straps themselves are black and have a nice tropic pattern on them. Their length is 85mm on the buckle end [including the steel buckle] and 120mm on the tail end; so not short but not too long either. A pair of good quality spring pins will be included with each strap. They can be purchased separately in my eBay store under item 132475721565. Feel free to contact me for whatever questions you might have.
