Possibly one of the biggest [if not the biggest] diver from 50 years ago, an era that defined ‘big and colourful’, this ROYCE ‘Professional Marine’ is surely a conversation piece. It runs on an automatic AS Cal. 2063 and is wearing one of my own ‘waffle’ rubber straps in black, with orange stitching.
FUN FACT: the Swiss lady I bought this from told me that her late husband did not really wear it because he accidentally damaged the original strap, after which, he put it away. The original strap came with the watch and yes, you guessed it right, its a super rare 22mm silver Tropic that I will include with the watch.
As with all the watches I service here at Localtime, the BIN price includes a written 3-month written warrantee from the date of purchase. Feel free to contact me for whatever questions you might have.
EXTRA! More information on these great straps: I have found these straps to be very comfortable and a great match especially for sporty or diver watches. They come in 4 sizes [16-18-20-22mm], 6 colours of rubber [black, blue, brown, orange, red and yellow] and 6 different colours of stitching [white, grey, blue, orange, yellow and red]. The straps themselves are have a ‘waffle’ pattern on top and a ‘grooved’ pattern on the bottom. Their length is 97mm on the buckle end [including the steel buckle] and 118mm on the tail end; so not short but not too long either. They have two floating keepers with the same rubber ‘waffle’ pattern. You can see these straps in the last photo here and under eBay item number 202061460884.
