Possibly one of the most flamboyant vintage diving watches I have seen in years, this 20ATM “Subaqua” from Cortebert has been professionally restored and fully serviced in our Spa here at Localtime.
The solid Aqualand-style s/s case is thick and long and creates a glorious wrist presence. The domed plexi with inverted cyclops’ eye over the date window at 3h is original and has been professionally polished. The watch’s original aluminium 37mm bezel [40mm if you count the oversize crown] is in great condition and rotates bi-directionally, as it should. The dial with pulsations scale and hands are a feast to the eyes. The automatic ETA Cal. 2472 has been fully serviced. We have fitted this watch with a black rubber strap with orange stitching that, we think, fits the watch nicely. We are also enclosing an orange Zulu Nato for a more casual choice. We have made many photos including snapshots from the restoration, as well as, some close-up macro shots, just for fun.
As with all the watches we service here at Localtime, this will arrive to you with a 6-month written warrantee. Feel free to ask us any questions you might have.
