Professionally restored and fully serviced by Localtime, this is a very rare example of an Omega Geneve Chronostop chronograph watch Ref. 146.012. It is what we know as the ‘jumbo’ size as this is bigger [41mm case, 43mm including the crown] than the other Dynamic models, the Omega line it actually comes under.
It is an all original condition, ready to wear or join your collection. Lovely blue dial and hands, logoed crown and original steel bracelet. I have included many photos, including some macro shots I took just for fun. I have also included a couple of snapshots from the watchmaker’s service bench when the watch was still open. This is quite a rare Ref# and we have only seen one more auctioned on Christie’s a while back for $3600 [photo available on request].
As with all the watches I handle at Localtime, the BIN price includes a 6-month written warrantee from the date of purchase. Feel free to contact me for whatever questions you might have.
Extra: Try my Localtime tropic-style straps! Let’s face it, we all wish we could use the vintage, original type, but they are nowhere to be found anymore. If you do find them, they are very expensive or dry and stiff if they were not properly kept all these years. Not to mention the fact that 22 & 24mm are really rare as hen teeth. I have found these straps to be a good alternative to the vintage tropic straps and very comfortable. They come in 4 sizes [18-20-22-24mm] and with 2 smooth, floating keepers. The straps themselves are black and have a nice tropic pattern on them. Their length is 85mm on the buckle end [including the steel buckle] and 120mm on the tail end; so not short but not too long either. I include a pair of good quality speed pins too. You can see them on the last photo here and they can be purchased separately from my eBay store under eBay item number 132475721565.
