Professionally inspected by Localtime, this is a stunning example of a NOS vintage steel 200m diving watch by ORGANA [Swiss].
The brushed Aquastar-style large steel case [38mm or 41mm counting the crown at 3h] has been lightly cleaned and is in truly stunning condition. The automatic ETA Cal. 2783 movement with date at 3h has been fully inspected. The sporty orange dial, ‘true’ diver hands [including the paddle sweep] and applied horizontal indices [check out the extra lume indices at 6-9-12], create a classic and cool simplicity. The bezel is clean and sharp and has a nice, firm bi-directional rotation. It is wearing a modern black tropic rubber strap, that I think compliments the watch very nicely. I have made many photos of this beautiful watch, including a few fun macro close-up shots.
As with all the watches I handle in-house, the BIN price includes a 6-month written warrantee from the date of purchase. Feel free to ask me for whatever clarifications you might need.
Extra: Try my Localtime Tropic straps! Let’s face it, we all wish we could use the vintage, original type, but they are nowhere to be found anymore. If you do find them, they are very expensive or dry and stiff if they were not properly kept all these years. Not to mention the fact that 22 & 24mm are really rare as hen teeth. I have found these straps to be a good alternative to the vintage tropic straps and very comfortable. They come in 4 sizes [18-20-22-24mm] and with 2 smooth, floating keepers. The straps themselves are black and have a nice tropic pattern on them. Their length is 85mm on the buckle end [including the steel buckle] and 120mm on the tail end; so not short but not too long either. I will include a pair of good quality speed pins too. They can be purchased separately from eBay item number 132475721565. Feel free to contact me for whatever questions you might have.
