From the late 1960’s and in great condition, a Hamilton Pan-Europ automatic with the Hamilton Cal. 964A, based on the ETA Cal. 2472 that has been professionally inspected by Localtime. The dial, hands, bezel and case [42.50mm case, 45.50mm including the screw-in crown] are just wonderful and it still has most of its purple wax on the caseback. You might recognise the bezel if you are a Heuer Autavia fan as both Hamilton and Heuer used the same exact bezel on their Pan-Europ and Autavia models respectively. It is wearing one of my own Localtime Tropic straps.
As with all the watches I handle in-house here at the Localtime Spa, the BIN price includes a 6-month written warrantee from the date of purchase. Feel free to ask any questions you might have.
Extra: Try my Localtime tropic-style straps! Let’s face it, we all wish we could use the vintage, original type, but they are nowhere to be found anymore. If you do find them, they are very expensive or dry and stiff if they were not properly kept all these years. Not to mention the fact that 22 & 24mm are really rare as hen teeth. I have found these straps to be a good alternative to the vintage tropic straps and very comfortable. They come in 4 sizes [18-20-22-24mm] and with 2 smooth, floating keepers. The straps themselves are black and have a nice tropic pattern on them. Their length is 85mm on the buckle end [including the steel buckle] and 120mm on the tail end; so not short but not too long either. I include a pair of good quality speed pins too. You can see them on the photo here and they can be purchased separately from my eBay store under eBay item number 132475721565.Share:
