Professionally serviced by Localtime, a 1940’s Vertex [by Revue SA] Ref. 4247 with a Revue Cal. 59; a ‘civilian’ relative of the same ATP model issued to the British military during WW2, with gorgeous dial and cathedral hands that remind us how beautiful watches can be, in respective of their size or brand.
It is wearing a new old stock dark brown calf leather strap. The nickel-plated case [31mm or 33mm counting the crown at 3h] has been lightly cleaned [not polished!] and the Revue manual-wind Cal. 59 fully serviced. I have made many photos of this beautiful timepiece, including some macro close-up shots, just for fun, but also some snapshots from the service bench. I have also included a scan from Konrad Knirim’s book ‘British Military Timepieces’ showing the ATP version.
As with all the watches I handle in-house, the BIN price includes a 6-month written warrantee from the date of purchase. Feel free to contact me for whatever questions you might have.
EXTRA! Check out my own Localtime straps: Handmade from premium calf leather to my own specifications in Italy, they come in 5 sizes [lug width/buckle width]: 18/16, 19/16, 20/16, 21/18 and 22/18mm & 8 colours: tan, brown, dark brown, black, cinnamon brown, olive green, denim blue and grey blue. I sell these separately in my eBay store under eBay item number 401105271426 and you can also see them in the last photo here.
