Professionally inspected in-house by Localtime and only the second genuine example I’ve ever seen, a FORTIS [Swiss] ‘Marinemaster’ 43mm large-cased Super Compressor from April 1968 with an ETA automatic Cal. 2452.
The grey no-decompression rotating inner-bezel and colourful dial are simply mesmerizing and I actually photographed the watch with 3 different cameras to manage to capture it correctly [at least on some of the photos!]. To my knowledge, together with the Bucherer ‘Archimedes’ they are the only super compressors that included a no-decompression scale on their inner bezel. The fact that we see many fake examples of this iconic model here on eBay every single week, is simply saddening. Both crowns are, of course, cross-hatched. It is wearing a great quality strap from ColaReb Italy.
As with all the watches I handle in-house here at the Localtime Spa, the BIN price includes a 6-month written warrantee from the date of purchase. Feel free to ask any questions you might have.
EXTRA! Check out my own Localtime straps: Handmade from premium calf leather to our specifications in Italy they come in 5 sizes [lug width/buckle width]: 18/16, 19/16, 20/16, 21/18 and 22/18mm & 8 colours: tan, brown, dark brown, black, cinnamon brown, olive green, denim blue and grey blue. I sell these separately under eBay item number 401105271426 and you can also see them in the last photo here.Share this watch:
