1960’s DOXA Swiss SUB 200 “Seamaid” Ladies Diver Watch – ETA Automatic Cal. 2671
Out of stock
From the 1960’s a beautiful [and early model with the ‘sail ship’ caseback] ladies’ SUB 200 ‘Seamaid’ diver from DOXA, that has been professionally restored and fully serviced by Localtime.
A true diver from the 1960’s, the ladies’ versions of the Doxa SUBs are rarer than the mens’ versions as there were just fewer made. The signature black dial which it gets from its ‘Sharkhunter’ men’s model, set of 3 hands and decompression bezel are simply stunning. The case measures 32mm or 35mm including the crown at 3h. It is wearing an original and NOS black Tropic strap, a rarity in itself. I have included many photos of the watch, including some photos from the service bench, to allow you to enjoy the lovely details of this fine timepiece. Also FYI only, a scan of the original Doxa catalogue. Before you ask me: I did not polish the bezel or case because that’s just not what I do or believe a vintage watch should look like. I am a firm believer in provenance and authenticity. The dial is in wonderful condition. The original glass has some small scratches.
As with all the watches that are handled by Localtime, the BIN price includes a written 6-month written warrantee from the date of purchase. Feel free to contact me for whatever questions you might have.
EXTRA! Check out the waffle rubber straps I sell separately in my store: I have found these straps to be very comfortable and a great match especially for sporty or diver watches. They come in 4 sizes [16-18-20-22mm], 6 colours of rubber [black, blue, brown, orange, red and yellow] and 6 different colours of stitching [white, grey, blue, orange, yellow and red]. The straps themselves are have a ‘waffle’ pattern on top and a ‘grooved’ pattern on the bottom. Their length is 97mm on the buckle end [including the steel buckle] and 118mm on the tail end; so not short but not too long either. They have too floating keepers with the same rubber ‘waffle’ pattern. I sell these separately in my eBay store under eBay item number 202061460884 and you can also see them in the last photo here.Share this watch:
