This is one of those watches that really make my heart tick. Professionally restored and fully serviced in-house here at the Localtime Spa, this is a late 1930’s- early 1940’s HARVEL ‘Self-O-Matic’ with AS Cal. 1171, AS’s early attempt at a bumper automatic; considered their re-design of the Harwood automatic, the first ever automatic movement.
It is wearing a new old stock pig skin strap in honey brown that I think matches the watch really nicely. I have made many photos of this beautiful timepiece, including some macro close-up shots we took just for fun, as well as a couple of snapshots from the service bench.
As with all the watches we restore and service in-house here at the Localtime Spa, the BIN price includes a 6-month written warrantee from the date of purchase. Feel free to ask any questions you might have.
